Trainer/MHE Trainer

Location: Bardon, Coalville Leicestershire

Full Time: 40 hours per week

Salary: Circa £23- £24k per annum

Our client is a multi-temperature supply chain logistics specialist and an ethical family business.

They are looking for a hands-on individual to work as an MHE Trainer and someone who enjoy a challenge, can use their own initiative, working proactively on their own and as part of a bigger team.

The successful candidate will be based at the Bardon, Coalville Site in Leicestershire, which employs approx. 250 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for a new opportunity working within the food industry and wanting to develop their career.

The successful candidates will work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm

MHE Trainer Responsibilities
  • Conduct Induction and MHE training and maintaining up to date records across site and shifts.
  • Site manual handling training as applicable and review of site manual handling procedures.
  • Perform Site racking inspections as required yearly /monthly.
  • Maintain safe and legal MHE kit for the site with interaction from Linde Lansing.
  • Liaise with Ops managers to maximize training needs and times for Oakland Team members.
  • Keep up to date and maintain site training matrix/ records ensuring legal compliance
Requirements For The MHE Trainer
  • Holds a current valid MHE training qualification
  • Awareness of Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet operational needs
  • Has a positive can-do attitude
Desirable
  • Holds a current valid train the trainer manual handling qualification
  • Proven track record
  • Conversant with warehouse processes
  • Multi-lingual
  • Experience in a chilled environment
