Working as a Trainer for this award winning establishment, recognised as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care, you will be fundamental as you lead the way in the training of new and experienced careers.

You MUST have a nursing or caring background and ideally combine this with training experience, although this is not essential. As a collaborative team player you will illustrate a professional and approachable manner at all times, whilst you deliver courses both in person and online, to ensure the excellent service and quality of care is consistently maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver in house training courses both face to face and virtually
  • Support and monitor carers appropriately during training sessions
  • Complete carer training performance records for each session
  • Undertake associated administration and record keeping e.g. booking carers onto training courses and completing carer training records
  • Communicate with all relevant individuals and departments e.g. attending meetings, reporting concerns, providing practical advice and pastoral support
  • Continuing professional development by attending mandatory training in line with regulatory requirements and maintaining current and relevant CPD record
  • Knowledge of moving and positioning preferred but this is not essential

Location: Tonbridge
Salary: Up to £30,000
Hours: Full time
