We are looking for new recruits to be part of our expanding team. The primary responsibilities of the role are to install broadband and TV services, resolve broadband faults, and optimise speed in our customer’s premises on behalf of our clients which include TalkTalk and BT.

You will be given full and ongoing training in the role, and also be fully supported throughout your working day by our Scotland based Service Centre. Additionally, you will have an Area Operations Officer and a Coach to assist you with any issues you may encounter.

Installation engineers attend pre-agreed customer appointments, installing and upgrading telecoms equipment, such as telephone and broadband into customers’ homes. The job will involve internal wiring, jumpering, dealing with the general public and climbing of up to 11m telegraph poles when required.

You will receive paid first class accredited industry training on our clients two week residential course, which are held at regular intervals.

The training will include Full health and safety training, Driver and road safety, Driving assessment, Classroom work to support underpinning knowledge, Working with colour coded cables, Working in a main junction box (PCP), Installation of main phone and extension sockets, Climbing variety of poles and ladders, Customer care, Accreditation exams. In addition, you will receive Street-works training too.

Once you have successfully completed your training you will receive a fully kitted vehicle, fuel card and all the safety equipment and tools to carry out your job.

We are looking for people with the following personal profile:

· Technically minded with experience working outdoors in all weathers.

· Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.

· An aptitude for problem solving.

· A keen eye for detail and willing to go the extra mile.

· You must also have held a full UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points on your licence
