In partnership with schools in our local communities we are proud to launch our National Teaching Assistant Programme, which is desgined to support those who want to start a Teaching Assistant career.

About The Role

The role of a Teaching Assistant is vital in the day to day running of schools. Teaching assistants with the best outcomes have excellent communication skills, and are able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, quickly and effectively.

We work alongside our client schools which helps us to provide the successful Trainee Teaching Assistant with high quality training and paid on the job experience.

About The School

The school you will be working in is a specialist provision for children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) needs, that teach children across KS1 and KS2 in small classes with an ambition curicculum and increased opportunities for SEMH development opportunities.

Depending on suitability and a succesful interview and pending suitability, we will work to secure you a paid placement in this school to further develop your skills. Prior to starting your placement, you will be required to complete a training programme delivered by Vision For Education and school leaders, which will give you the esseential skills you need to work as a Teaching Assistant.

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant. you will:

  • Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people.
