We are looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join the team at our Blackburn dealership. You will be working alongside experienced colleagues and trained in selling a combination of new and used vehicles, with a wide range of finance and insurance products.

You must have held a full clean driving licence for a minimum of 12 months to be able to apply for this role. But if you do and you have drive, energy, personality and a can-do attitude, please read further.

The job:

Working in a dealership sales environment can be challenging – its a target-driven industry and regulated by the FCA so process is very important – but it is also very rewarding in both job satisfaction and take-home pay. As a trainee you’ll start on a basic of £21,000 - £22,230 per year with no targets to work to, but once you complete the training you could be on target to earn £50,000 per annum.

We have standards, processes and expectations which must be achieved during your training, and moving on in your career we expect you will be:

• Following the Company sales process 100% of the time, from enquiry through to delivery and beyond.
• Achieving a variety of monthly and quarterly targets.
• Keeping company paperwork 100% up to date and accurate.
• Maintaining excellent customer relations and building rapport and lasting relationships.
• Managing and developing your customer follow-up and prospecting systems.
• Complying fully with industry and FCA standards and processes,
• Ensuring your manufacturer training is fully up to date and
• Demonstrating the Chorley Group family ethos of ’Big Enough to Cope, Small Enough to Care’

The person we need is:

· An excellent communicator, and a complete professional in their approach to customer service

· Smart, and a maintainer of high standards of presentation and prides themselves on their manners

· Pedantic about the detail,

· The holder of a full UK driving licence and also able to drive a computer and/or iPad
