We are an education recruitment agency, dedicated to providing Teachers and support staff to schools all over the UK. We are looking for an enthusiastic trainee consultant to join a thriving team of recruitment consultants based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You will be responsible for building your candidate pool and client school base across the Tyne and Wear area.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a key part in initially supporting a team of consultants with finding, qualifying, and placing the right candidates for their vacancies, giving you the opportunity to earn commission from your very first day. Once fully trained, you’ll have the opportunity to progress through our career ladder, were you’ll work alongside and be mentored by experienced top performers to help you develop your skills.

You will work from our Newcastle office, based in the city centre just a short work from Monument Metro Station and Central Station. Once familiar with our systems, you will have the opportunity to work part of the week remotely from home.

Recruitment is a sales driven role. If you are willing to learn, we will give you all the sales training and mentoring you will need to be successful in this position. If you are ambitious, financially motivated, competitive, and resilient then we want to hear from you.

A good understanding of geographical locations of the Tyne and Wear area is desirable. Ideally you will be a driver or be willing to learn to drive in the near future. This is a full-time role.

What the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role entails:

• Responding to daily phone/email inquiries.

• Conduct daily business development calls to develop relationships with client schools

• Sourcing CVs relevant to individual consultant sectors – primary/secondary/SEN

• Qualify and shortlist candidates against relevant vacancies

• Contribute to team meetings as appropriate
