Job Description

At Gregory Distribution Ltd, we have a vacancy for a Trainee HGV Technician based at our Cullompton Depot.

The Position Will Involve
  • To train in all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair while working as an Apprentice.
  • You will start of on your Level 3 Apprenticeship, and then continue to develop your skills over the durations of the Apprenticeship which will last for at least three years, making you a fully qualified Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician.
  • Gregory Distribution maintains their own fleet of vehicles and you will be working alongside our experienced Technicians.
  • You will gain knowledge of the vehicle systems including, engine, chassis and electrical systems.
  • Gain the understanding and the practical skills required to repair Gregory Distributions fleet and other large vehicles.
  • Learning how to remove and replace components and carry out bench work.
  • To understand all health and safety requirements.
  • College course to be discussed at interview.
