Our Heating Services division at Certas Energy are looking for an experienced Heating Engineer to join us in the Penrith area. The contracted hours for this role are 40 hours a week Monday – Friday.

In this customer facing role, you will attend customers properties to service, maintain or repair their oil powered boilers and heating systems. You will also respond to breakdown and emergency calls promptly to investigate faults, carry out remedial work and to ensure that boilers and systems are tested, operational and safe.

Ensuring that we provide the best service possible for our customers and retain their business, you will be in regular contact with our customer service and routing team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

This role is a great opportunity to join a friendly and established team, with the great bonus potential, and training for engineers without oil experience.

We’re Looking For
  • Experience as an oil or gas heating engineer
  • OFTEC qualification and experience is desirable
  • Full driving licence
  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level self-motivation
  • Someone that is methodical and practical
