Trainee CNC Sliding head Setter Operator- Official Training provided
  • Day based Role 7am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday and an early finish Friday 12:30pm
    • Our client, due to growth and investment within the business is looking to add a Trainee CNC Sliding head Setter Operator to their growing team. Full training will be given on the companies CNC sliding head machines. As well as this you will receive ongoing support and also get the chance to go on an official fully funded sliding head programming and setting course. The minimum requirement for this role is experince setting and operating CNC Lathes. Experince on fixed machines will also be highly advantageous. The ability to edit programmes using Fanuc controls would also be beneficial. This is a permanent role in a growing, friendly and supportive Engineering company. Interesting and varied work machining components for a variety of industries.Trainee CNC Sliding head Setter Operator- Setting and Operating CNC Machines CNC sliding head machines (Training Provided)
  • Programming/ Editing CNC Sliding head machines (Training Provided)
  • Working on a variety of CNC Lathes and Sliding head machines
  • Running Fanuc based machines
  • Changing all the tools according to requirements and ensuring that the machine is loaded with material and set the machine count.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with the machine and tooling focusing on getting the machine running again. .
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments
  • Overseeing other CNC Operators providing technical support
  • Working with a wide range of materials

  • Days Monday to Thursday between 7:00am-3:30pm Midday finish Friday
  • £14.50-£16.50 per hour
