Trainee Cable Fitter - No experience Needed just the willingness to learn.

Our client is seeking Trainee Cable Installers, due to shortage of skilled people in the UK, you will go through an intense 6 week training programme where you will gain necessary skills required to do the job. No experience required as full training will be given to all successful candidates.

The best part is this course is FREE. The course is funded by the government subject to criteria, they also cover the travel expenses.

You will have to attend your local training centre Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (travel expenses covered)

  • How to install CAT5 Systems
  • How to Cap off
  • How on Test & Fault find
  • How to Install VOIP
  • Any many more....

What does a Cable Fitter do?

Cable Fitters install, test and repair communications systems. This includes fixed-line and mobile telephone networks, copper wire and fibre-optic cabling and digital satellite systems. Work could include:

  • Installing, connecting and testing cabling
  • Diagnosing and fixing faults in systems
  • Working with aerial rigging and related equipment
  • Installing mobile and static antenna on buildings or masts
  • Building and testing telecommunications components and equipment.

Please note this is a free training course with interviews towards the end, you will also receive a Level 2 Telecom qualification once completed.
