No Previous Bid Management Experience Required.

We are looking for degree qualified people, with at least 3 years work experience who want to build a career that makes an impact on the clients we work for…. Oh and earn £50k plus within a couple of years.

We are a strange crew of 15 people based in Melton Mowbray. We are really rather excited about what we do, writing tender responses for our clients that mean they win 8 out of 10 of the tenders we help them submit.

Trainee Bid Manager – The Role

The Bid Manager role at Tenders-UK is a blend of sales, bid management and proposal writing. It’s diverse and intellectually challenging role, not for the turn up and get paid type of person. It suits people who want to make a difference and have a career that is rewarding and mentally stimulating. Monday becomes Friday in a blink of an eye.

Every tender response we produce is unique to the specific client and tender. Typical projects last 10 days. The result is that every two weeks you will be working on a new assignment. An opportunity to deep dive into a new client or subject area. As your knowledge and client base grow, so will your rewards. Our aim is for you to become a Bid Manager earning £50,000+ in 2 years.

We will help you on your journey. Initially providing a comprehensive induction into our approach and processes, then ongoing coaching from our Senior Bid Manager to help you develop your capabilities and hone your skills.

Trainee Bid Manager – You

This is a key, office based, revenue focused role in the business, responsible for reaching out and bringing new clients into the firm and then manging the work you secure. Ours is very much a Consultancy-led sales approach, and therefore you need an ability to learn how to understand our clients’ business drivers and see the world from their seat and deliver solutions that work for them. Clearly you won’t be able to do this when you join us, but we will teach you how.
