Summary

As part of our Access Control Installation team, we are looking for a professional individual, who is keen to develop their skills in an ever increasing market providing the installation and commissioning of high quality access control solutions to different sectors including office, retail, hospitality and leisure.

This is a great opportunity to work within a local business who provides services nationally. The ideal candidate will have an interest in construction who is willing to learn in an area which is constantly developing. It provides an opportunity to be trained to enable the individual to install and commission simple access control solutions requiring number pads to complex systems controlled by biometric data.

Duties of Role:
The person we are looking for will:
  • Will be technically minded
  • Able to develop the skills required to install and commission products
  • Be methodical and organised
  • Work closely with colleagues in a small team in order to get tasks completed
on time to a high standard

The role will involve:
  • Learning how to install access control on to doors and within buildings
  • Integrating the systems with other building safety systems such as alarms, cctv
and fire safety solutions
  • Commissioning of systems once installed
  • General maintenance of existing systems

This list is not exhaustive, and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the manager, which are relevant to your role within the company, to meet the overall business needs.
