Location: Hybrid – (With either our Culmhead, TA3 or Newcastle under Lyme offices, ST5)

Salary: £18,000 - £24,000 DOE #TransparencyScheme

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 6PM (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Owning a caseload of insurance claims across a multi-client team
  • Managing all aspects of the claim from start to finish
  • Being available to field calls from customers, clients and suppliers.
  • Being responsible for the pivotal part of the customer journey in regard to their insurance claim
  • Engaging with clients, customers, and suppliers via an omni channel approach which includes email, phone, and our bespoke messaging service
  • As a senior position you will be self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritise your workload whilst being expected to work with a very high level of autonomy.
  • The role will require you to take on leadership level responsibilities such as managing a region of surveyors or requiring you to triage the insurance claim and appointing suppliers you believe will provide the right outcome for the customer whilst controlling cost for the insurer.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience and experience with preventing and resolving complaints
  • Previous Insurance industry experience (Household)
  • Buildings Insurance for Claims Handlers, Technical Modules or other qualification or on job based technical
  • Good IT skills with the ability to use multiple systems (Microsoft, bespoke packages)
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Good organisation skills
