Join our team as a Tour Guide and Workshop Leader at York’s Chocolate Story

York’s Chocolate Story, located in the heart of York, is an entertaining and informative guided tour through the history of York’s most famous chocolate-making families and their finest creations. Guests discover chocolate’s origins, how to make it, how to taste it like an expert and even the sustainable future of chocolate.

As a Tour Guide and Workshop Leader, you will deliver an exceptional experience ensuring all of our guests take away lasting memories.

Using a mix of expert knowledge and humour, you will be hosting and delivering scripted content with an injection of your own creative flair. We are looking for people who enjoy being centre stage and bags of personality is a must. This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to be part of a team to have fun delivering exceptional guest experience.

The role also includes assisting with private evening hire and event operations as and when required.

We are looking for team members with sparkle and passion, that are genuinely interested in providing high quality guest service and telling the stories of our unique attraction. A team playing attitude is a must.

Full training in educational workshops and birthday parties will be provided but prior experience with children is beneficial.

Contract: We have 12 hour per week contracts and 32 hour per week contracts available. All contracts are permanent. Weekends & Bank Holidays included.

Weekend availability essential, availability throughout school holidays, possibility of more hours available during peak times
