Job role: Tig Welder Fabricator - Immediate Start




Salary: £30,000-£33,000 (£15-£16.50 per hour) + overtime




Location: Leighton Buzzard, Buckinghamshire




Hours: 8:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 14:00 finish Friday.




Job Type: Full Time, Permanent




Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays




Overtime: Time 1/3












The Company:




Interaction Technical have partnered with a global market leader in the design and manufacture of conveyor and seasoning systems for the Rail Industry, Our client is well established in the industry They are now at a pivotal stage of growth where they are now looking to add a new welder fabricator to their growing manufacturing team.

The Role:




  • TIG Welding stainless steel, Mild Steel, Aluminium between 0.8mm- 3mmto produce an array of different high-quality structures for Rail and the Automotive



  • Quality checking your work to ensure welds are of the highest quality, reworking and/or repairing welds when quality is not sufficient.



  • Reading and following engineering drawings and diagrams to ensure welds are to the correct dimensions for the client.



  • Cutting and grinding metal as part of the fabrication process, ensuring quality expectations are met.



  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.







The Requirements:








  • Previous experience TIG Welding - 2 years minimum (essential)



  • The ability to read engineering drawings and diagrams (essential)



  • Relevant qualifications - NVQs, City & Guilds etc (advantageous)



  • Apprentice trained (advantageous)



  • Strict attention to detail



  • Work to tight deadlines
