The Role

Tesco Bank is looking for a Threat Intelligence Lead who will drive the activity of the Threat Intelligence (TI) function by leading on the collection and analysis of threat information from a range of sources and partners. This allows us to create intelligence products and help decision makers within the bank to manage their security risks with the best possible situational awareness.

You will be:

• Leading on the development of the threat intelligence programme at Tesco Bank to support CISO strategy
• Collaborating across a range of industry partners including government agencies, vendors and peers to collect and share of threat intelligence
• Supporting CISO and the wider business through threat information collection and analysis to an evidential standard as required
• You will collaborate to develop and maintain a plan to support the long-term TI strategy, business intelligence requirements and organisation wide goals, considering emerging and future threats
• Supporting with triage, assessment, processing and grading of threat information
• Acting as an SME point of contact for Threat Intelligence within Tesco Bank
• Oversee tasking, direction and co-ordination of information sources and feedback
• Proactively identifying innovative new sources and improving processes and tools for collection and analysis of threat information
• Deputising for the Head of Security, as required.

• Strong experience within cyber and fraud threat intelligence and/or investigations
• SME understanding of security threat landscape in relation to financial services
• Experience of utilising analytical and investigation tools including OSINT
• Knowledge of how to assess information and make critical assessments under pressure
• Experience in digital forensics, cybersecurity operations and fraud
• Exceptional established industry network
• A collaborative approach is essential
• Experience of challenging sources and the credibility of information
• Ability to quickly pick out the most relevant intelligence for the bank and share the right details in the best format
• Ability to process large amounts of complex information and data from multiple sources in structured and unstructured formats
• Ability to build and develop strong networks within a complex and fast-moving industry
• Enthusiasm and passion to get the job done in a timely fashion
• Ability to communicate with colleagues across all levels and to work with them to get the right result
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain SC/DV clearance is preferable.
