We are looking for an individual to undertake a Technical Instructor post within the Network Services Therapy Team at Royal Stoke. The post offers the opportunity to work in an exciting University Hospital. The post holder will be part of one of two clinically based teams that make up the Therapies Directorate.The successful candidate will be supported by our excellent Senior and Advanced Therapists helping to rehabilitate patients on the: Trauma, Elective, Orthopaedics, Fractured Neck of Femur wards, the Acute Rehabilitation and Trauma Unit, Neurology, Paediatrics and Cardiothoracic wards.The Therapies Department comprises of two multidisciplinary based teams, the Medical & Surgical Team and the Specialised Services Team, incorporating both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. These teams form part of the Trust Medical, Surgical and Specialised Services Divisions.The successful candidate should have experience of working within a healthcare environment and an understanding of Therapy interventions. The post holder will also be expected to complete competencies in both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.Therapy Services work within a 7 day shift system therefore there is a requirement to work weekends and bank holidays.The UHNM NHS Trust covers Royal Stoke Hospital in Stoke on Trent and County Hospital in Stafford.
