Leaders in Care UK is working with a client that has an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner, ODP (Operating Department Practitioner) or Scrub nurse to join one of the UK’s leading private hospitals and take their career to the next level. This full-time theatre role based in Leeds comes with a salary up to £36,000 p/a and excellent benefits.You will work as part of Anaesthetics and Recovery team, you can expect to assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures, including ENT, neurological, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology and urology.To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures, ensuring waste is kept to a minimumEnsure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate wayRun a theatre list without supervisionPerform anaesthetic dutiesTo apply for this Theatre Practitioner role, you will need to be an HCPC registered ODP or an NMC registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic module.
