Refurbishment Technician

Job type: Full-time 3 month Temporary Contract

Salary: £23088 (£12.00 per hour)

37hrs a week, Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm, Friday 9am-5pm,

This is an entry level position with no previous experience required. This is primarily a role within a team that involves testing products for functionality, preparing and grading for resale. This role is the first phase in our processing procedure. Initially on a 3 month contract with possible scope to become permanent.

Prestek Ltd is a small and friendly company that prioritises people and a supportive working environment. We test, prepare and sell presold goods alongside new items online. Our E-commerce business is rapidly growing and we need to expand our teams to keep pace with growing demand.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for individuals who have common sense and can troubleshoot simple product faults / identify issues with the functionality of a variety of products during the refurbishment process.

Responsibilities

· Quickly identifying product faults

· Grading and preparing for resale

· Testing returned items to identify / confirm fault

· Sorting and cleaning products

· Putting away products in our warehouse

· Assisting our logistics team during busy periods

Requirements - Preferable

· Common sense and willing to learn

· Work well individually and as part of the team

· Ability to identify faults

· Have a positive outlook / motivation

· Good literacy and communication skills

· General PC knowledge and familiarity with MS Office suite

· Previous experience of working in a factory or warehouse environment and experience with electrical / electronic testing is useful but not essential. Full training is provided.
