Are you looking for an opportunity to join an evolving engineering business that can offer you long-term stability and an opportunity to excel? They are a leading designer and manufacturer of a cutting-edge range of equipment. They are now looking to add to their production & test team, after a recent relocation into a newly refurbished premises.

You will be working closely with a highly skilled engineering team, in a low-volume manufacturing environment. If you’re an Assembly Technician / Production Technician / Assembler who aspires to get involved in test, this could be a great chance for you to do that!

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Product assembly, testing and troubleshooting, following schematics and assembly diagrams.
  • Maintain product assembly and test procedures and being involved in the creation of new and improved processes.
  • Provide support to product users should any issues arise.
  • Conducting product servicing and repair on faulty units.
  • Visiting suppliers locally to exchange parts and materials.

The Candidate: Test Technician

You will likely be the kind of person who enjoys solving problems and working methodically. You will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Electromechanical assembly background.
  • Able to read both schematics and assembly diagrams.
  • An electronics qualification - BTEC, HNC, City & Guilds etc.
  • Willingness to get hands-on in all areas to solve problems: adaptability is key.
  • Full UK Driving License

To be commutable to the office you could live in or near one of the following locations: Romsey, Newbury, Salisbury, Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Farnborough, Reading, Andover, Bath, and Eastleigh
