Details
This is an excellent opportunity to join us as we embark upon changes to the way that we work and engage with our customers. We have recently reviewed the ways in which our tenants and leaseholders can get involved and are in the process putting new tenant involvement options in place and recruiting new tenants and Retirement Living leaseholders.
Join us at this exciting time and help us to deliver our pending new Tenant Involvement Strategy and action plan, Tenant Involvement Options brochure and the changes arising from the Social Housing White Paper and regulatory requirements.
If you want an opportunity to make a real difference, be innovative and put ideas into practice, then this could be the role for you. This is a varied, changing and interesting role and we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person who can help us deliver best practice, excellent customer service and engagement, regular and clear communications, partnership projects and much more.
Educated to A level standard, or equivalent, you will need to have considerable experience of working with tenants, a working knowledge of ways to engage with and involve customers and strong influencing and relationship-building skills. Membership of the CIH would be an advantage.
You will work as part of small team which is central to the delivery of our core housing services.
We offer an excellent package, including competitive salary, career average salary pension scheme, an employee benefit scheme offering a range of discounts and salary sacrifice schemes, flexitime and discounted leisure centre membership.
Wealden District Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
This post is available as a job share if you are looking for part time hours.
We are committed to maintaining a diverse workforce and an inclusive work environment. We value the differences that people bring from all backgrounds and communities and all applications will be treated on merit.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the majority of our staff are continuing to work from home at present. Therefore, if you have any queries regarding this vacancy, please contact us via email where possible at human.resources@wealden.gov.uk
