About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Housing Manager who will lead two of our key services for customers

  • The Customer Income team which focuses on ensuring that income from our customers is collected promptly and sensitively using a tailored approach to delivery
  • Our Anti-Social Behaviour service which provides a customer centred approach to swiftly tacking anti-social behaviour in our homes and communities

You will be part of the Housing Services management team and lead your service to success, managing and reporting on performance and providing support and guidance to both teams alongside resolving some of the more complex issues which come into the team

About you:

With substantial experience in leading, developing and motivating team, you will have a sound understanding of housing law and its application in tenancy management and be happy to present cases in Court when required. You will also have previous experience in delivering service improvement and embedding change, preferably in a housing environment.

You will be a strong influencer; both with colleagues and with external stakeholders and have the ability to develop strong working relationships.

You keep calm in difficult and complex situations and can prioritise a busy workload easily, assess situations quickly and keep those around you motivated when the pressure is on.
