Chefs Recruitment are looking for a Temporary Sous Chef to step into the kitchen of this hotel in North Cumbria.With a modern Al la Carte Menu in the Restaurant, alongside a more casual Bar Menu this busy Hotel suites both those guests looking for a leisurely stay and those staying on business. With access to fantastic conferencing and banqueting facilities this makes the hotel busy with mid week and weekend trade.

If you enjoy working within in hotel kitchen then this is the perfect position for you!

What we need from you?
  • Running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Managing and training Junior Chefs in the team to ensure high culinary standards
  • Helping the Head Chef to create new dishes and menus
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
