JOB OVERVIEW: Inside Sales Lead / Sales Manager / New Business Development & Account Management / Inside Sales Team Leader sought by award winning accounting, CRM & ERP software consultancy. This is a permanent employment contract with fantastic in-house training and development.

LOCATION - Birmingham office (central / northern area)

SALARY - Depending on experience c£40K-£50K basic plus C£12K OTE (uncapped), plus excellent staff benefits package!

My client is an award-winning accounting, CRM & ERP software consultancy which has strong established partnerships with leading accounting, CRM & ERP software providers. They have an enviable client base in the tens of thousands and a constant stream of incoming leads. My client’s solutions cover software, training, support and development add-ons / bespoke development.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to ongoing expansion and increasing customer demand my client wishes to recruit a proven Sales Team Leader. You’ll perform a "hands-on" new business development & account manager role, whilst leading and motivating a small but growing team of new business and account management sales professionals. It is critical that you have a genuine interest in accounting / finance / business management. This is a fully OFFICE BASED Sales Team Leader position where all sales are executed over the phone and video.

This is an exciting and varied role with real opportunities for personal and professional development for enthusiastic and determined individuals.

You will motivate and lead your team whilst also acting as the first point of contact for my clients’ business, with full responsibility for introducing the company and winning new customers. Excellent ongoing training on my client’s accounting & finance software will be provided.

Your duties:

  • To motivate and lead your team from the front and by example
  • To manage your team on a daily basis whilst always remaining hands-on and hitting your own personal sales target
  • Provide accounts & payroll software solutions and services to small and medium sized businesses
  • Execute sales transactions; participate in negotiations and close deals over the phone and via video
  • Work closely with customers over short and long length transactions.
  • Building rapport and helping to solve organisations problems
  • Timely and accurate business reporting
  • Monitor and manage customer satisfaction
  • Develop clients for Account Management: cross selling support contracts and other services
  • Working with the Marketing Department to promote our services
  • Work with senior management to introduce new processes and procedures
  • Recruit new sales team members both new business and account managers

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • You will have good prior experience of working as a "hands-on" office-based Sales Team Leader or Sales Manager with your own personal sales target
  • Proven sales track record
  • You will ideally have academic qualifications within business / finance / accounting but this isn’t essential.
  • A strong interest in accounting / finance / business management / business processes
  • You will be at an advantage if you have accounting software sales experience such as Freshbooks, Quickbooks, Netsuite, ERP, Zoho, SAGE, SAP Business One, Xero or similar
  • Self-confidence and an excellent telephone manner.
  • You will be at an advantge if you have experience of providing customers with solution oriented products or services.
