Job Description – Telesales Agent

New Forest Ice Cream is a proud family run business that was established in 1983. We pride ourselves on providing a great service to our customers, many of whom have been using us for many years.

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing Telesales Agent to complement our excellent team at our production site in Lymington, Hampshire. As a telesales agent, you will be discussing all things ice cream with our customers. These could be head chefs in pubs or restaurants, owners of ice cream parlours or retail shops.

Job Role Responsibilities

· Effectively and efficiently manage customer enquiries that come in through via telephone.

· Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records.

· Spot any potential new customer account opportunities work as part of the sales team to drive positive company sales results.

· Call our regular existing customers on a set schedule, to take and process their weekly orders for delivery on the system.

· Offering any additional promotions or new products to customers while placing their orders.

· Managing any customer requirements for point of sale or advertising.

Key Skills & Qualifications Required

· GCSE in English & Maths at Grade C or above

· Diligent and conscientious in the accuracy of their work, excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent Customer Service experience with a “Can Do”, proactive attitude.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to operate in a fast paced, dynamic environment and able to work under pressure.

Salary

Depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 5 months
Part-time hours: 30-37.5 per week

Salary: £9.00-£12.00 per hour
