Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Telesales Administrator to contribute to generating sales for our company. You will be responsible for generating the initial sales over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.

An effective telesales administrator must be an excellent communicator. They must be comfortable talking about the company’s products and services over the phone.

The goal is to help the company grow by bringing in customers, helping to generate sales and developing the business.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or a service using scrips.
  • Identify opportunities, produce leads, and book appointments for the field sales team with the emphasis on high quality leads.
  • Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing; build and manage pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database.
  • Answer questions about products or the company.
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and to pass the information onto the field sales team.
  • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
  • Enter and update customer information in the database.
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a telesales administrator or other sales/customer service role is essential.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
