About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team leader with a strong technical background to join our growing Telecoms Support team. The Telecoms Support Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, supporting their professional development and assisting with a wide range of Telephony issues.

What you will be doing

Supervising, mentoring and developing a team of Telecoms Engineers

Resolving critical IT incidents and problems, along with incident management

Identifying reoccurring technical faults and liaising with other internal departments to resolve/ reduce faults

Reducing incident and problem fix times within the team

Managing business impacting situations to ensure minimal downtime

Working with colleagues to improve customer infrastructure

You will suit the role if you have

Proven experience in a similar role

Fundamental understanding of Networking, Microsoft products and Virtualisation

Good understanding of general server, storage and network technologies

Experience making business-sensitive decisions

Previous management experience

CCNA/ CCNP (desirable)

Salary

£30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)

Location and Working Arrangements

You will be based at Aspire’s Gateshead Quayside Head Office with occasional travel to other Aspire locations as required.

Hours of Work

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
