Telecoms Engineer

Coventry

This is a Monday to Friday 0900 to 1730 role, you wont always be on the tools, with a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 pcy.

My client are a younger company with just over ten years experience in sector, you would be working within a small team that is both office and field based.

This role will take your career from being on the tools on site to the formal setting of working with clients over the phone and then visiting if needed for further works.

My clients diverse product portfolio includes lines, broadband, the latest in voice & data products along with cloud-based technologies.

We are looking for people work on the following:

  • Handling support tickets from receipt to resolution across our VoIP products
  • Managing escalations including liaising with Customer Service Teams and Carriers to resolve issues.
  • Installing and configuring telecoms hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Monitoring and maintenance on Telephone systems and networks
  • Talking clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system as needed.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications
  • Working continuously on a task until completion
