Electricity North West is looking for a Telecommunication Support Administrator, and the role comes with a salary of up to £36,310 p/a and excellent benefits.

As a Telecommunications Administrator, you will provide technical support in line with the service management framework to a team of field and central system engineers and technicians in the operation, maintenance and fault repair of the telecommunication networks and telemetry asset base. You will also ensure that the technical administration activities of the team enable the challenging service levels to be achieved.

In your first few weeks in this support role, you can expect to:

  • Provide technical investigation, analysis and first-line support to business colleagues at all levels
  • Provide technical administration support to the field and central teams
  • Prioritise faults based on criteria such as safety, CARs and age as well as knowledge/understanding of faults to ensure maximum performance
  • Implement the service management framework and experience at working under service level to deliver target network performance

To apply for this role, you will need an understanding of the Service Management Framework concept and in particular Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement. You will also require the following:

  • Experience working under service level and a broad knowledge of Service Operations and Continuous Service Improvement processes
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
