We are a telecommunications company contracted by BT Openreach, we are responsible for maintaining and servicing BT Openreachs overhead network.

We are seeking a driven, hard-working individual/team player, enthusiastic, reliable and conscientious individual to take on this challenging and dynamic role working within our telecommunications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the depot planners with their daily roles and responsibilities while offering training for a future planning role.

Role and responsibilities:

• Applying daily permits and notices to different highway authorities
• Coordinating with surveyors and engineers
• Database management
• Coordinating with local authorities

• Liaising with our customers and providing updates
• Jeopardy managing work stack
• Making surveyed orders fluid, this could involve liaising with third party companies i.e cranes, traffic management, UK Power Networks
• Taking calls

Desired Skills:

• IT Qualifications or suitably experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Polite and clear telephone manner and the ability to communicate calmly, confidently and professionally to our customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work positively and enthusiastically within a team.
• Retain a positive and flexible working attitude to develop and enhance the scope of this role.
• Able to demonstrate evidence of independence and initiative whilst maintaining professionalism at all times as well as being part of a small team.
