Our client, a forward-thinking technology company, is on the lookout for a skilled Network Engineer to enhance their IT infrastructure and contribute to the success of their many projects.

Network Engineer

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design, plan, and deploy cutting-edge telecommunications networks to meet evolving industry standards and customer demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network elements, from hardware to software.
  • Monitor network performance, swiftly identifying and resolving any issues to maintain optimal connectivity.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts, diagnosing and resolving network outages with precision and urgency.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging technologies and recommending innovative solutions to enhance network efficiency and security.

**Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role, showcasing hands-on expertise in network design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

·Understanding of networking concepts. The OSI model, DNS, DHCP, ARP, IP addressing etc

·LAN, WAN and SD-WAN

·Network security, firewalls

**Desirable**

·Cisco Meraki experience

·Networking certifications CCNA, CCNP

·Experience working with Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)

·Experience working with scripting languages such as Python

·Broadband products such as ADSL / FTTC / SOGEA / FTTP / Leased Lines
