The Role
Due to continuous growth and development within our Technology Service Line, we are recruiting for a Technology Service Desk Analyst to join our Head Office in Carlisle.
The main elements of this role will include:
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving any reported incidents relating to IT systems, hardware and software
- Analysing trends and escalating any ongoing / particular issues to the Technology Service Desk Manager
- Establishing a good working relationship with our end users and direct team
- Providing remote, telephone and on-site support to our end users
- Taking responsibility for the handling of service requests and allocating the requests to other members of the team where necessary
- Making recommendations to improve service delivery from first hand experience
The Candidate
In order to fulfil the role we expect the successful candidate to:
- Demonstrate exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal) when speaking with all vendors / external suppliers / IT helpdesk contractors / team members and colleagues
- Have great timekeeping ability
- Have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
- Be a dedicated team player and be willing to assist colleagues within the Technology Team where possible
- Have a desire to learn and contribute towards the ongoing development of the immediate support team
