Technology Automation Specialist

We are looking for someone either to work remotely in Poland or to work hybrid in the UK (Corby).

The purpose of this role is three-fold

  • Maximise the benefits as a result of driving optimal use and configuration of technological solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to the core model concept and change control process to support a global, scalable, standardised solution.
  • Support improvement of processes and continuous improvement of technology solutions.

Job Description

  • Support the deployment of new automation technologies
  • Provide first line support to users of technological automation solutions
  • Recording a log of activities and their status
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement is continued post automation solution deployment to ensure technology solutions remain fit for purpose and maximise the benefits of the solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with third party suppliers of automation technologies
  • Produce training material of technologies implemented
  • Become an expert in analytical reporting capabilities of technologies to demonstrate tangible benefits of solutions and create insights for managers to monitor and optimise opportunities post deployment
  • Manage requests for changes to technological solutions in accordance with Change Control Process to ensure adherence to vision of having a Core model solution
  • Provide training to BAU and SME stakeholders
  • Identify improvement opportunities within processes during scoping technological solutions fit for purpose
  • Work collaboratively with the design and development, process solutions and continuous improvement teams
  • Deliver improvement projects assigned to this role holder

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of working with automation technologies
  • Experience of working with Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Experience of working within a project-based environment
  • Knowledge of order to cash systems (SAP); customer master data structures and processes
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve performance
  • Experience of delivering training and coaching others
  • Able to distinguish between must have and nice to have requirements
  • Confident to influence and challenge whilst maintaining effective relationships
  • Excellent personal organisation skills and time management
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities
