Job content
- Responsible for assisting the IT Manager and Technology Innovation Project Manager to maintain existing technology.
- Responsible for assisting the IT Manager and Technology Innovation Project Manager to develop and implement new technology.
- Responsible for providing Project Managers technical support during Trial projects
- Responsible for maintaining and administering data and processes in our systems, ensuring it is consistently kept up to date and processes are followed to enable delivery to budget and provide data for business key performance indicators
- Responsible for delivering desktop surveys to time and quality
- Support process improvements to drive continual improvement and innovation
- Provide training and support to employees as part of project implementation/deployment
- Use Jarvis as the hub system for project administration and become a champion of its functionalities
- Liaise with support partners and other interested parties on the completion of any of the above tasks by telephone, email, or other means as necessary
- Provide project job packs and equipment to enable successful delivery
- Maintain project resource plan and report resource issues with options for solution
- Upload site data to enable processing via our supply chain
- Administer Risk Assessment and Method Statement documents to support Project Managers
- Compiling relevant information to enable procurement of equipment
- Maintaining strong working relationships and ongoing communication with internal colleagues
- Maintain and update appropriate records
- Manage and monitor costs against schedules
- Participate in lessons learned reviews and contribute to improvement of processes, propose ideas and innovations and work within task forces as nominated as part of our learning organisation approach
- You may also be required to undertake duties within other areas of the company as and when required
Key Competencies:
- Minimum of 5 level 2 qualifications e.g. GCSE’s including Maths & English
- Excellent IT skills – proficient in MS suite
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly
- Forensic attention to detail
- Good communication skills – both written and verbal
- Be able to work in a high volume/high pressured environment
- UK driving licence
Preferable Skills:
- Experience of successful delivery of change programmes and projects
- Experience of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
- Experience in construction industry
- Experience in the Telecommunications/Utility sector
- Experience in surveying equipment deployment
- Experience in Monday.com, Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Analytical skills in MS Excel
