The Lead Product Application Engineer has technical responsibility for defining solutions to satisfy customer needs from early engagement, FEED, or request for design of Upper Completion, AccessESP and Artificial Lift Systems. The role will work collaboratively with product line technical authorities and tender teams in developing solutions which are technically sound and commercially competitive in market place.
As Lead Product Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Providing technical expertise and developing technical solutions as part of the pre-ITO (requisition) process while interfacing with the regional commercial and technical teams.Documenting of technical specifications and costing elements for further contract execution phases.
Supporting regional requests through the knowledge management system (TSP) and other systems as needed
Providing technical assistance to regions in tender processes.
Collaborating with technical training teams to maintain up to date educational material in order to improve application engineering training programs.
Collaborating with product center & regional technical SMEs to innovate the product line technical position in the market to ultimately differentiate in front of customers.
Supporting maintenance of Community of Practice to enhance application engineering knowledge sharing
Assisting with product line technical support KPIs to drive on time response and improve ticket ownership.
Crosstraining with other team members to improve knowledge skills in complex ALS applications and systems (i.e. HPump).
Communicating across direct organization. Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a degree qualification in engineering from an accredited university or college.Demonstrate experience in Completions system operations and/or Artificial Lift System technical support operations.
Have a strong SAP (ERP) knowledge.
Demonstrate knowledge with MS Office 365 software suites.
Demonstrate experience with regional applications engineering to support development of global best practices and lessons learned.
