An established medium-sized business, which is looking to replace a Technical Sales Team Leader within the internal Customer Success team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both​ technical sales and ​customer​ ​service. Prior experience in the industrial hose and couplings sector will be a distinct advantage. Export experience is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities

· Task/activity leadership of the technical sales team

· Answering inbound sales enquiries (phone & email)

· Managing supplier queries, quotes and follow-ups for non-stock items

· Raising sales quotations & orders

· Supporting the UK and International Business Development teams as required

· Updating the CRM/ERP system

· Ensuring all customer orders, enquiries and requests are handled appropriately and customers’ expectations are managed

Providing expert technical/product support

Skills & Experience

· Strong oral and written communication skills and experience with B2B relationships

· Sales administration

· Sales quotations and order processing

· Familiar with MS Office

· Self-motivated and willingness to take ownership

· Team player and accountable

· Customer-centric with a problem-solving attitude
