Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career in technical sales while working with a reputable company that values collaboration and innovation?We are seeking a Technical Sales Support for Storage Solutions to join a team and help drive our continued success.A leading provider of workplace supplies with over 125 years of experience, is expanding their Storage solution team.As a Technical Sales Support, you will provide technical assistance to the Technical Sales Engineer(s), working with customers, discussing designs of storage solutions, meeting with customers when needed, taking orders, helping with projects, and dealing with technical issues.Responsibilitieshis is a team role, where a lot of training a development from a very experienced Technical Sales Engineer.RequirementsWhat you need to succeed in this role, is simply a few things.
  • There is a technical aspect to this role, so a good engineering background is needed. And able to use AutoCad.
  • As it is a Sales role as well, experience dealing with customers, and working closely to discovering needs.
  • Advantage if you come from the storage solutions sector - but any technical sales sector where a capital equipment is sold
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in engineering would be brilliant, but a good apprenticeship, or HND/NVQ3 in engineering.
  • Around 3 years of experience in technical sales or a related field
  • Strong understanding of storage systems - is an advantage, but worked in a Technical sales environment will be considered.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills
