This is an exciting opportunity to join our Technical Support Team in Machinery. Ensuring the workflow within our business is efficient and that our deliverables are expedited at the end of project completion are key to our success. To facilitate our growth strategy within our Machinery Division, we are implementing this new role.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for working with the various areas of the business to vet project reports prior to release to our clients, provide technical support and aid technical development of current and new employees. In addition to this key activity you will support activities which underpin our accreditation and testing activities. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Provide technical support to the commercial team to enable them to qualify enquiries and provide comprehensive quotations to our client base Support customers (as agreed with commercial team) with technical guidance and information required e.g Application Forms, which will expedite their testing and certification Review project information to enable projects to commence promptly Provide technical guidance and training to Technical Advisors to develop their competence Timely and accurate vetting of test reports, to ensure reports are compliant with client, regulatory and quality requirements covering regulatory requirements. Initiate improvements in key machinery compliance processes to improve delivery and lead-times. Conduct gap analysis for new specifications ensuring our Scope of Accreditation is current. Support the review and development of documentation which provides instruction to the engineers when conducting project work. To support the machinery division by delivering this work at peak periods, if required Measures & Benchmarks Demonstrate technical support to commercial team (work standard compilation /visits etc) Review of projects related to discipline prior to start date Record and troubleshoot issues prior to testing commencing Progress reports through the 4eye process to improve turnaround times Essential Criteria: HND (or equivalent) in Engineering or equivalent experience Practical experience of machinery compliance assessment in accordance with regulatory or discipline related specifications. Maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Commercial awareness Compliance with using relevant business tools to role Practical experience of report vetting within a similar environment.
