A Technical Sales Manager, who can demonstrate experience of selling bespoke engineering solutions into a range of clients, is being urgently sought.

The successful person would be working for a manufacturing company based in Abingdon that process and apply performance enhancing ( Patented) coatings & heat shielding technology to a range of components.

Their clients include a range of vehicle manufacturers; motorsport teams; aviation component manufacturers, engine & machinery manufacturers and aftermarket customers world-wide.

The organisations bespoke solutions are sold via R&D, Engineering and Design departments within their target clients, requiring their sales professionals to gain an understanding of the client’s needs before offering a technical solution.

The role is 50% Account Development and 50% New business Development.. Provided with regular leads and incoming enquiries which are generated by the Marketing Team, you would also be expected to generate your own sales opportunities and follow them through to their successful conclusion.

Working out of an office in Abingdon and in the field, targeting both UK Based and Pan European clients, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of between £50,000-£65,000 (Negotiable) plus a car allowance, performance related annual bonus + benefits combined with real long term career progression opportunities .
