You will facilitate training and conduct assessments to ensure that SSE staff have knowledge & skills to support business to operate safely. You will be required to assist with the development of training and deliver training throughout the UK to meet our customer’s needs
  • Facilitating training and conducting assessments to ensure individuals have the technical knowledge and skills to work safely
  • Assisting with the development of training content, ensuring it is aligned to current rules, procedures and best working practices.
  • Planning the delivery of training plans and content across the UK that meets the needs of our customers. Regular travel is a key requirement of the role given training delivery can be carried out across multiple sites.
  • Providing advice and guidance as a technical expert on the implementation of Industry standards and regulations through engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Delivering training to support both new employees, as well as upskilling and assuring the competence of existing employees and contract partners as part of a continual review cycle for authorisations.
What do I need?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
  • Proven experience within Safety Training to include but not limited to - First Aid, Manual Handling, IOSH manging safely and other inhouse courses with the ability to deliver virtually.
  • Teaching qualification - Level 3 Education and Training or equivalent.
  • Assessor Qualification.
  • Health & Safety - Tech IOSH or above would be desirable.
