Job Description

Technical manager HVAC and electrical broad roll:
  • Deliver HVAC PPM / compliance / reactive / project works to six sites across the southwest
  • (Oldbury/Berkeley/Hinkley/Winfrith/Harwell/OTC)
  • Establish working relationships with the clients and engineering personnel at the above mentioned sites
  • Deliver Electrical inspection and test to Oldbury via the PIT team
  • Deliver Electrical project works at Oldbury
  • Ability to provide technical advice and guidance in relation to electrical and HVAC works
  • Offer service / value / deliver Mitie core values to our client
Qualifications

Education / Qualifications / Training
  • HNC / NVQ level 5 (technician) or equivalent experience in relevant discipline
  • HVAC knowledge
  • 18th edition
  • 2391 electrical inspection and test
  • SMSTS or NEBOSH
Experience / Knowledge
  • Relevant experience of managing and supervising HVAC and electrical activities
  • A thorough knowledge of the nuclear working procedures (contractor)
  • F-gas regulations / SFG20 / electrical regulations
Other Requirements
  • Understanding forms of contract CCS / NEC3
Key competencies
  • Detailed knowledge of the electrical regulations
  • Knowledge of HVAC PPM SFG20 time scales
  • Leads by example to ensure company values are promoted and upheld
  • Managerial and supervisory skills
  • Knowledge of operating systems (contractual tools and electronic systems)
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word/Excel Etc)
  • Establish good supply chain network (both HVAC and electrical
