About The Role

What will I be doing
  • Management of all technical department activity
  • Development and delivery of company product development programme
  • Management and development of team of development engineers
  • Design & development of water purification equipment to meet company specifications.
  • Control and delivery of multiple development projects from inception to repeatable production.
  • Control of engineering drawings and related documents.
  • Developing technical procedures and resource inline with company growth plans.
  • Provision of product support to production and service teams
  • Ownership of technical data on marketing materials (e.g. specification sheets)
What Are The Requirements

Qualifications and Experience required to do this role:
  • Degree level qualification in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven record of product development achievement.
  • Experience of providing Control and Instrumentation solutions.
  • Experience of working with Sales and Marketing teams to develop product specifications.
  • Previous experience of working within an ISO 9001 system.
  • Familiarity with Drawing Issue and Engineering Change best practice.
  • Experience of design & development of electro-mechanical products for repeat low volume production
  • Previous experience of managing multi-discipline teams

  • Ability to progress multiple projects concurrently
  • Analytical and logical approach
  • Excellent people manager
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills, to include Microsoft Office.
  • Committed to Health & Safety practices in the work place.
