They now have a role in their in-house design team as a Technical Coordinator.Role & ResponsibilitiesWorking with the in-house Architect and external consultants to produce stage 4 working drawingsProduction of all technical drawing packagesLiaising with solicitors on land sale plans, S106 agreements, and legal mattersCoordinating with land buyers, directors, and stakeholders for site appraisals and potentialCollaborating with case officers, parish councils, and national landscape bodies during applicationsWorking with sales and marketing to ensure accurate CGIsAssisting housing associations with land purchase plans, bids, and processesCoordinating with ecologists on surveys, vegetation, and BNG drawingsProviding advance notice to the accounts team for significant paymentsPoint of contact for technical queriesMonitor project budgets and schedules.Required Skills & ExperienceWorking knowledge of planning and building regulations in UK residential projects is essentialProficiency in drafting architectural planning and working drawings using AutoCAD Architecture 2023Previous experience in a Technical Coordinator or Architectural Technologist role within a housebuilding company is highly beneficialFamiliarity with civil and structural engineering principles and various building construction types such as masonry and timber frameStrong technical expertise enabling effective guidance on best practicesGood design skills with a drive to elevate company designs above competitorsExcellent organisational abilities to manage multiple projects concurrentlyEffective communication skills suitable for interacting with individuals at all levels and collaborating within a team.Understanding of Highway, Sewage, and Utility Authority proceduresStrong problem-solving capabilitiesDue to the location of the office you will require your own transport.What you get back£40,000 – £50,000Office houses 8 am to 4.30 pmTeam eventsOnsite parkingPaid mileage.ApplyIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
