Technical Architect, Software Architect, C#, Microservices, AWS


My client an Oxfordshire based software house is in urgent need of a Technical Architect / Software Architect with a strong background in C# to join their team.

As the Software Architect, you will play an essential role being responsible for the conceptual design of software solutions and working on software integrations. The suite of applications are built in the Microsoft stack including, C#, .NET, .NET Core, AWS and Microservices!

Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, the Technical Architect will also mentor current Senior Software Engineers, helping them to transition in to a more architectural role. There are lots of technical challenges to get involved in, as the Software Architect maintains and evolves the architectural roadmap.

The Technical Architect / Software Architect will be joining a software house that develop a variety of market-leading software solutions used by the emergency services and military, applications that have had an enormous impact on society and genuinely saves lives. The company have grown substantially over the last few years and are set to grow even further, so this is an excellent time to join an evolving organisation.

What’s required of the Technical Architect?

- Experience architecting enterprise C# software solutions

- Strong experience with C#, NET

- Experience with Cloud, ideally AWS

- Experience designing RESTful APIs and Microservices
