Teamwear Account Manager - Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking to recruit a proactive and target-driven Account Manager to join the early stages of our Teamwear growth. Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, this person will work across our partner sports clubs and be responsible for developing, selling and communicating a diverse range of products and services to our clubs.

The successful candidate will actively support the company’s overall purpose of high-quality brand management and optimisation of business development opportunities whilst encompassing our company values ofintegrity, development, fun, value and inclusivity.

The ideal candidate has knowledge and experience with the development and sales process and excels at relationship building, planning, and delivery. We’re looking for a charismatic, quick learner with strong communication skills who can inspire others. The ideal candidate will be a sports enthusiast with good cricket knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing club accounts in our growing Teamwear business
  • Responsible for communicating regularly with club committee members and customers on the status of designs and orders
  • Responsible for executing the sales lead pipeline to gain club accounts, as per annual targets
  • Load and develop club shops and products through our Group Shopify account
  • Target additional sales to existing customers through targeted email marketing campaigns, with the support of marketing
  • Working closely with the Marketing function to influence product development based on feedback from the field.
  • Support the medium to long-term development of our Emprise Teamwear brand growth
  • Work with other areas of the business to establish added value for our club accounts, across the Barmy Army, Barmy Army Travel, The R66T Academy and Emprise Digital
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Support the wider Emprise Group mission across our brands, including supporting at events, in customer service and at England cricket fixtures

Qualifications/Skills:

● Strong communication skills - internal and external

● Strong negotiation skills

● Creating and implementing sales and development plans

● Data analysis to efficiently report on progress

● Presentation skills

● Managing a sales pipeline

● Creative thinking

Education and Experience Requirements:

● Ideally, experience working in sport

● Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills

● Ethical, honest and transparent in their work

● Deadline-driven, attention to detail, professional

● Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment

● Excellent understanding of Microsoft/Google computer software

● You don’t need a certain level of education or qualifications - you mustbe able to show and discussyour previous achievements and how you are a winner.
