The role

We are looking to recruit a highly self-motivated, organised individual to provide support to the Corporate Property team in Land and Property, which is part of the wider National Grid Ventures business unit within National Grid. This is a great opportunity to join the team that manages our extensive property portfolio.

What’s in it for you?

Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 p,a. depending on experience

25 days holiday (increasing to 26 days after 2 years), plus eight statutory days and an option to buy extra holiday days

Key activities
  • Support the direct teams with the organisation and co-ordination of team meetings and events, such as management meetings and away days. Support at the meetings themselves.
  • Attend meetings and provide secretarial duties, including notes and action taking, support the preparation of material pre/post meetings and manage actions to ensure they are completed on time for both the department heads and their teams. Be responsible for the quality of associated documentation and accountable for the action log and chasing relevant parties to complete their actions.
  • Organise project governance such as programme/project steering meetings, liaising with PAs to co-ordinate dairies, including the collation of material, papers, and actions in advance of the meeting.
  • Provide ad hoc project administration support to help with the delivery of high priority property projects.
  • Ensure effective document management and controls for the project and the team via SharePoint, MS Teams etc. Recognise that some of the information is highly confidential and commercial sensitive information and appropriate measures and safeguards will need to be in place in accordance with process, procedures, contracts, and best practice.
