Main duties of the job

To take the lead from and support the deputy head for the development of the physiotherapy services within the localities/DGH, and to identify opportunities for service change and implement changes within areas of responsibility

As the professional clinical lead, the post holder will provide operational leadership which will include monitoring and prioritisation of all Physiotherapy resources within a designated area on a day to day basis.

Working in conjunction with Advanced practitioners and Clinical Specialists to ensure the delivery of evidence based practice and maintenance of standards to provide a high quality patient centred clinical model

To take a lead in delegated aspects of Clinical Governance activities within the Physiotherapy Service

To be responsible for planning, organising, implementing and managing the delivery of services within delegated level of authority and to meet agreed activity levels in line with LHB, CSP policies and Procedures and HCPC Code of Professional Standards and Guidance

To be an authorised signatory for travel and part of the ESR hierarchy.

To hold a clinical caseload in area of speciality

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
