How to contribute to our vision

We are looking for Team Leader within Segment 2 area of production to join our Wind Turbine Blade Manufacturing Facility in Hull, UK.

As a Team Leader You will be responsible for the leading a team of operatives within the segment to ensure defined SQDCP targets are met and will also be responsible for first level disciplinary, development and performance management of your team.

Some of the key areas we want you to be involved in include:

  • Ensure all safety concerns are addressed in a timely manner using own initiative and current systems including Sphera’s, Take 5 and BOG
  • Ensure team are working to ZWI / best practice to produce the highest quality product to specification
  • Deliver to TAKT and production plan
  • Evaluate Operatives’ competence to ensure valid work instructions are followed with focus on safety and quality
  • Absence management
  • Support development activities for team and self
  • Provide technical support and advice for engineering and production
  • Support other team leads and group lead as needed
  • Deliver team briefs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Accurate PRISMA recording
  • Support the implementation and integration of engineering and process changes

What you need to make a difference

  • Must be able to demonstrate good organizational skills
  • Minimum 2 years full time employment within the Blade Factory will be preferred
  • Ability to prioritise work with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure & flexible with a can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong experience in IT would be an advantage
  • Confident and competent to work under pressure to deadlines and take responsibility for their own work
