Job Title: Team Leader Location: Cumbernauld Job Type: Full time/ Permanent Salary: £27,644 per annum (Annual hours contract that requires flexibility on hours

  • 16:00 , there will also be requirements to work 06:00
  • 14:00 on a Friday as required. Job Purpose: The objective of this role is to lead a production department to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours. Duties include:
  • Ownership and accountability of production line
  • Achieve daily planned target outputs for the line
  • Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels on the line
  • Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock
  • Good communication ensuring adequate training is carried out with all employees on the line
  • Encourage a one team approach where employees treat each other with dignity and respect
  • Support on the production lines alongside colleagues
  • Ensure high quality and housekeeping standards at all times Experience required:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing and quality is essential
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
