Team Leader
Our Thatcham based Transport team are now looking for a Team Leader to –
To support Senior Management by leading a team in the efficient and smooth onward flow of goods through the supply chain providing the level of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for.
About The Role
The Team Leader supervises the transport teams individual assignments and checks all tasks are being carried out correctly according to the department procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • To optimise productivity and efficiency from the team.
  • To ensure an exceptionally high level of performance is promoted and maintained.
  • To ensure that all team members attend the company induction program and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor system reports and take appropriate action to clear.
  • To regularly review procedures for improvements in efficiency and working practices, and to make any recommendations to the Assistant Manager.

About You
You will have previous transport experience and a HGV class 1 licence. You will possess strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be a team player who can develop and maintain trusted relationships at all levels. You will be flexible and ready to work to flexible days/hours and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the change demands of the business. .
